What's unique about the Tutor/Mentor Conference is that it focuses on networking, which introduces conference participants to people who they want to know for their own organizational purposes.
This is a grassroots conference, and we hope that by bringing people we know to meet with over 100 other tutor/mentor program leaders, we'll convince each of these leaders to being to bring people they know to future conferences.
By doing this we each share the role of expanding the network of resource providers for every other program in the city. That builds stronger programs. That helps more kids connect with tutors and mentors.
